Olbermann leaving MSNBC
« on: January 22, 2011, 12:00:13 AM »
Finally a bit of good news for the day. Keith Olbermann is leaving MSNBC, with tonight's show being the last. The New York Daily News reported that MSNBC told Olbermann it was his last show.

He will be missed. For being a goldmine of crazy.

At least we still have Matthews.

If Matthews ups and leaves voluntarily with Olbermann, we'll know that it wasn't just his leg that had been tingled. ;)

I was thinking that The View might be about right for him.

I heard, last week, that COMCAST boought or was given permissision to buy a controlling interest in NBC from GE. Maybe this is the first shot in the salvo that will re-direct NBC.

Who was his last worst person in the world on the real show? Not seeing it or googling i'll let my bet ride on O'Reilly.

We need to be careful that his firing, if that's what it was, doesn't become a reason for the Obamaites to push The Fairness Doctrine.

Update: Bill Carter just told Anderson Cooper that part of whatever deal they struck will likely keep Olbermann off TV "maybe not for two years" but for an extended period of time.

His leaving the propaganda ministry's flagship disinformation network means nothing to those of us that never watch it as he'll like continue to pollute the airwaves from another vector.

I'll save any celebrations for when he gets dirt shoveled on him.

Joy Behar wouldn't tolerate someone as far left as he is.

I understand that a lot of people don't agree with me and espouse values that are contrary to mine . . . and that's OK to a point.

But after listening to Olbermann once, and realizing he wasn't deliberately lampooning a viewpoint the way they do on comedy shows like Saturday Night Live, but he actually meant what he was saying, I concluded that he's just plain bughouse nuts.

Seriously.
