Looking for some APS history lessons
« on: January 09, 2009, 10:50:48 PM »
I had lurked for sometime before joining and it is obvious I hadn't been doing it long enough...

Someone please tell me when and how and why the "Blame Fistful" (aka Mr. Tactical Pants aka Bunny Boy (as he was once called...I laughed long and hard at that one)) thing got started?

I have no idea but I'm pretty sure it's his fault.

I don't remember.  Ex-MA-hole designated me as forum scapegoat at one point, but I don't recall why.

All I know is, I was framed, I tells ya!

fistful, I could never get mad at you - you are very important to this board.  We need a scapegoat, and well, you're it.   =)   - ex-ma hole

There it is.  I used that as my sig line for a long time, and briefly changed my name and avatar to Scapegoat.

I really liked the Bunny Boy thing....When you had the cute bunny with the flower...It was so cute.

You may be the scapegoat...but I get to carry one of the greatest honors..."annoying PITA who asks really bad questions and makes statements that tend to offend the mods".

I've already had Irwin redact one of my (poor) jokes about the Pres Elect and I have only been here for a bit of time....and I was just kidding...

Where is the sick (read as socially frowned upon) sense of humor smilie?

P.S.  I do vaguely remember the Scapegoat.

Uh.  I thought he was a cute little guy, too, but settle down.  I'm a married man.     I was trying to change him over to some other avatar, and the whole thing got messed up, so I just quit.

BTW, I am curious about that joke.  Can you send it to me in a private message?

The real question is what is his fist full of in his tactical pants ???

I created The Legend?  sniff....

I don't remember, and APS history doesn't go that far back (due to a system glitch it's Fistful's fault).  If my memory serves me right, which it usually doesn't, you and I were going back and forth about something inane in a thread, and there was a separate bigger thread that was getting somewhat tense, and I decided to break the tension by blaming you, then everyone jumped on the band wagon.... thus, a star scapegoat was born...

I don't remember.  Ex-MA-hole designated me as forum scapegoat at one point, but I don't recall why.

But if you hadn't got into it with Ex-Ma you wouldn't have been blamed.

So that still makes it your fault.

Hey wm, long time no see?  =D

I have been around off and on.

Had to go back to my real job since you guys, the taxpayers, stopped paying me on Christmas. =D

Plus been trying to play catch up with the family.
