I'm guessing it's really a measure of where population density is in each state, and which state they hate. The map says Missouri hates Kansas, but here in eastern Missouri, I'd wager Illinois gets a lot more hate. Probably more population in the KC area, and they hate Kansas. Plus, all the Mizzou grads. But I hate them, so it evens out.

Ours is currently Ohio (there are even tons of memes about it, apologies to T.O.M. And Adively) but it’s going to be California real soon with the massive influx of people fleeing that state for good jobs here

I understand the Michigan hates Ohio thing, that is just from the pure fact of growing up in either state.  Why does SC hate Ohio?  This is news to me.

It says Texans hate Oklahoma.  I was wondering if that was more the northern parts of Texas.  I am a bit indifferent about OK.  Louisiana might qualify, but that is just the closest state to me at a few hours drive away.

An indoor gun range here added an axe throwing section off to one side (was never a shooting area).  From the looks of the targets, it does get used.

SC hates Ohio because of obnoxious tourists. Affects mainly the coast (especially Myrtle Beach), and I think mainly refers to the college age/young Ohioans.

I knew Ohio was Michigan's most hated state even before I clicked on this.  There's a longstanding heated rivalry between the University of Michigan and Ohio State University.
