Corrine is a real piece of work. She represents Florida's 5th Congressional District. It is a gerrymandered district, snaking through every majority black section of town from Jacksonville to Orlando. I doubt that it's more than a few miles across at it's widest.
http://gloforcongress.org/?page_id=271She is in the top 10 for numbers of junkets she has taken. Usually with her entire family, and always booked through her daughter's travel agency, at increased cost. There is no budget for Congressional travel, and boy they take advantage of it.
Corrine is a disaster at public speaking, but damned good at funding projects that get her votes. Here in Gainesville, there is a brand new 'transit facility' named after her. Cost the Federal tax payers $40 million. No one but students and minorities ride the bus, so it's all about getting those votes.
The list of her transgressions is endless. This is not the first time she has been called on the carpet. Her district has been changed, and she will have to run in the fall, in a new area that is not specifically designed to get every black vote out there. She will lose. Hopefully, she will go to jail as well.
