I suppose that liberals would never know the difference between a rifle and a shotgun - being that you rely solely on the bravery and honor of patriotic Americans to protect you.

possible, but I don't think I've ever seen one of those that folds at a 90 degree angle. Neither in real life nor on the intranetz. You are of course technically correct, but the odds of that being a rifle are about the same as me winning the next powerball. You gotta admit the "shooting her foot off" comment explains a lot about the LA-Time's knowledge of guns.

Since this is already being discussed over on Round Table, I'm closing this one.

Let's go over this, fistless... this isn't a politics topic why?
Because it's a thread about a reporter's not knowing his elboze from his arseholze, NOT about Sarah Palin toting a rifle onto the floor of Congress in support of Second Amendment rights.
