  • I spent a week in that town one night....
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Well, the first 1-1/2 paragraphs tell the whole story without having to subscribe or sign in.

I suspect he's going to try to keep most of his promises, sort of like a weekend mechanic:  Fixing what you can to keep it on the road each Saturday and Sunday, and appointment of constitutionalist judges (especially strict scrutiny ones) is part of that program.

Like changing spark plugs, I guess.  Gotta keep it running so you can get to work during the week.  Next Saturday you've got to change that fan belt.

Now, what we need is Ginsberg to retire to spend more time with her grandchildren.

That will be an interesting one. She might hold out for the next ~3 years out of spite, but I don't think there's any way she could make it through Trump term 2 if he gets reelected.

I'd say that if the Left/Hollywood/MSM figured out today that they're 100% shooting themselves in the foot, and completely backed off of Trump Derangement Syndrome... the past 11 months is probably still enough vitriol, hyperbole, and hate for him to get a boost in 2020 over his 2016 showing.

Because the best way to make Trump palatable to people who might otherwise find him lacking is to beat the drums incessantly that anyone who isn't left-of-center is a racist hatemonger. He'll be even more of a protest vote in 2020.
I promise not to duck.

Shouldn't she be in New Zealand by now ??

Lots of nominations, but only four confirmed so far.

Yeah, I wondered about that too.

And how about all the others who threatened to move out of the U.S. if Trump were elected?  Certainly there's a list somewhere, no?

I thought I read somewhere that President Trump would have the opportunity to appoint something like 300 federal judges in his tenure as President.  Or was that 300 federal appointees in general?
