  • In short, most intelligence is false.

Also:  Anyone know of some pro-freedom/pro-gun oriented polo shirts or button-down shirts I could wear?  Heritage Foundation/Cato/NRA have any nice businesswear for casual dress?

Just no Starfleet uniform.

Atlas Shrugged, while wearing a Wookie suit.

Why wear anything?  Just hold the book in a strategic position....  =D

I was told that The Fountainhead was supposed to be a love story before I read it.  I didn't see it.  It was decent, but I completely agree that Atlas Shrugged was way better.  She can be a bit long winded, but I find her philosophies to be fascinating.  I bought Anthem, but haven't read it yet.

I haven't read the other two books.

ARS 13-3102.01.  Sounds like I'm covered.

Then, also from Maricopa County Superior Court web page:
http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/CourtSecurity/GeneralInformation/policy.asp
Quote
No Weapons Policy
No persons are permitted within a Superior Court building with any type of weapon.
--Members of the public must go through security screening at court entrances. All persons carrying weapons (as defined by the Court Security Department) will be prohibited from entering the court complex until they have removed the weapon from the building or have it secured by security personnel.
--Armed members of law enforcement agencies shall comply with court policies.

Sounds like I can carry to the security checkpoint, then inform court security and get a gun locker.

How about you go, get on the jury, and do your best to simply nullify all verdicts? It's more fun.  =D

How about going, getting on the jury, and doing your best to seeing justice done?

...or have it secured by security personnel.

AZ, this may not mean what you are taking it to mean.  The way it's written, it could be interpreted to mean that you hand over your guns to Deputy Fife for him to "secure" in some way that is not specified in the text.

Double check.

Seek out wisdom in books, rare manuscripts, and cryptic poems if you will, but seek it also in simple stones and fragile herbs and in the cries of wild birds. Listen to the song of the wind and the roar of water if you would discover magic, for it is here that the old secrets are still preserved.

I just called.  Yep.  They have lockers for folks like me.

(That could be interpreted more than one way, too... =D)

How big are the lockers? After all, sometimes you need a backup gun, and a backup for the backup, and a backup for the backup's backup...

That's the point, isn't it?

Jury duty sucks, but if good men do nothing...  You guys know the rest.  =|

That, and it's a friggin hoot to mess with traffic court verdicts on BS tickets.  Might as well help the guy out who doesn't just knuckle under and pay the stupid ticket given as an obvious revenue generator.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Forget the guns.  Show up at the courthouse wearing a wedding dress or something.

On second thought, don't bring AS.  You're already in one trial; why put yourself through another?

Speaking of Fountainhead drivel...  =D

Roark's first job is a CT shoreline house atop granite cliffs, he even uses the same granite for the house so it blends in. Problem? Once you get down near the shore in CT it's all basaltic rock. You can actually watch the change take place as you drive from midstate to the shoreline.

Maybe the picture came from a wedding in San Francisco, where it wouldn't raise many eyebrows . . .
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.
