That video made me laugh too.

The Sikh dude was in control of himself and wasn’t trying to cause the thief permanent harm. It was an adult paddling, and both well deserved and well executed.

I think the guy with the camera was in on the robbery, or at least was supposed to be.  He was running his mouth way too much. 

Robber got what he had coming.  The 7-11 is probably a franchise store, so I think the corporate office will stay out of it rather than firing the employees (they likely *can't* fire the employees).

I tend to agree. Besides the, "let him - you can't do anything about it and you have insurance" talk, he also kept asking for a Swifter. Go to the freakin' swifter aisle and get one dude. They're not behind the counter with the over 18 items. Total distraction tactics.
