How are we going to have a "space Force" when only CIVILIANS are flying into space in the USA these days?

And yeah, that's one ugly uniform. They need to do a go back.

And why does the Space Force still even exist?

It was a Trump innovation. Shouldn't it have been disbanded by now because...

TRUMP! TRUMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

Looking at the picture, it looks like the high neckline on the new uniform tunic is still to be worn with a necktie, with only a portion of the knot showing.

If that's the case, that's just asinine.

I've been in the Air Guard for 10 years now and I still can't get used to the upside down chevrons and rockers. It's just wrong. Un*expletive-deleted* yourself, gosh darn over-glorified Army Air Corps!

Where do those originate on US uniforms anyway? Is it some kind of shout out to the Brits from the olden days?

If I recall correctly the V-oriented chevron was the original in the US Army.

Ah yes, I'm now recalling the old "F Troop" series.

All Army NCOs wore chevrons with points down until 1902 when the Army turned the points up and adopted the patterns used today, two chevrons for Corporals, three for Sergeants and combinations of rockers and other devices beneath the chevrons for higher grades of Sergeants.
