Amazingly, it is not until te very last that the guy's political affiliation is hinted at.

Like so very much of what has been going on with/by the MSM for way too long.  Had he been an (R) it's most likely that fact would have led the story.

This was on the radio right when it came out.


Corrupt politician in Illinois.  *yawn*   If they don't have an entire Club Fed prison for them, they should at least have their own cellblock.
