Back on the topic, but with 'C' batteries instead, I recently purchased a couple of sets of these:

but at Costco, where they are currently on sale for $ 25. A 500 lumen flashlight for $ 12.50 is a heck of a deal. I know have them in the cars and in the garage. It is very useful for peering into the guts of the motorcycle as I am working on it.
