Auf wiedersehn, Michael!
« on: September 10, 2006, 04:55:30 AM »
I kinda figured it was gonna happen.  Michael Schumacher announced his retirement from Formula 1 today after winning the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.  Formula 1 just won't be the same without him.  As much as I love Formula 1, there just isn't too much personality and the racing really isn't that great.  Then again, for me, it's always been about the cars.

Hopefully, he can win the championship and go out on top.  He's only 2 points back now because Alonso didn't finish.
Ferrari has announced that Kimi Raikkonen will be their new driver.  I'm glad to see that because he is the best driver in F1 after Schumacher.
Oh, Lord, please let me be as sanctimonious and self-righteous as those around me, so that I may fit in.
