A young lady who works with me is going off to medical school (in Bahston
). I want to get her a thank you/congratulations gift. One item she mentioned was noise-cancelling headphones. There's a dizzying array out there, from Blose to Blaupunkt. I'm mainly interested in ambient noise reduction and comfort, as her listening will likely be lectures rather than music, but sound quality is a plus, of course.
