You bet. Quickie scan of the political news shows on this Sunday AM indicates that most of the news professionals are still poking at irrelevant and non-factual "facts," trying to develop a "hard-hitting interviewer" persona, and interrupting while the interviewee is talking.
"But he scratched his nose while he said that, which is, as you surely know, a sign of lying."*
This whole mess has been disgraceful to the Democratic party and its useful idiot acolytes, altar boys and mindless sheep who will chant whatever the jerk with the bullhorn is spouting.
Yeah, I'm seeing red in that sense. Having scanned through the pap news shows this Sunday AM, I guess I'll just tune to one of the animal shows.
I guess Senator Collins summed it up in this extract from her speech announcing her decision:
Since that time [of the announcement of his nomination] we have seen special interest groups whip their followers into a frenzy by spreading misrepresentations and outright falsehoods about Judge Kavanaugh’s judicial record. Over-the-top rhetoric and distortions of his record and testimony at his first hearing produced short-lived headlines which, although debunked hours later, continue to live on and be spread through social media. Interest groups have also spent an unprecedented amount of dark money opposing this nomination.
