Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
« on: April 28, 2010, 07:31:16 AM »
There is 4 inches of snow in my part of the Champlain valley and its still coming down.

What, in, the, world.
I shall not die alone, alone, but kin to all the powers,
As merry as the ancient sun and fighting like the flowers.

I'm unfamiliar with where the Champlain valley is. Here in Montana, it's 44F and lightly raining now and then.

EDIT: Oh DUH. Up in VT, you mean, yeah. Why is this weird, to you? It's only late April. Have you not lived in VT before? When I lived in Quechee‎ for a while it was like that, and in Burlington it was like that as well.

Somewhere around here I have a picture of fresh snow in the mountains.  In June. From about two years ago.

You lived in Quechee? I drive thru there a couple times a week for work. I just came to VT in April.

I guess a little snow is not surprising but supposedly they got a foot in Burlington.

And not only that but the Farmer Almanac "called" it.

Games? The  wife and I used to rent a cottage in Woodstock so we'd trip over to Quechee and hang around. I spend most of my time checking out the damn and the power plant.

We hit Great Barrington once too and went on a tour of the wineries(?) After about the third one I came to the realization that I wasn't going to be drinking any grape based wine that day.  :P

I was not aware of these Scottish games. Or maybe I was but haven't ever been. When are the held?

I don't know about that, last time I went to the games I threw a caber a decent length, nearly a perfect noon toss, too! ;)

Well, maybe not Quechee.  But say that about quiche and I'll schedule you a rendezvous with the beating truck.  :)

Quiche? Ugh, fancy French froo-froo food. Personally, I like "refrigerator pie". ;)
