Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth was invited to open the festivities by performing a clitoridectomy on the cake, which she did by slicing off the part of the cake depicting female genitalia. She then proceeded to feed that part of the cake to a performance artist, done up in blackface, his head protruding through the table.

I read about that. The Swedish Africans, or whatever correct phrase applies, are saying it is racist because the cake is sterotypical. The Minister is defending her actions because it was for a good cause. It's weird on so many levels.

Atleast they got a (delicious?) cake out of it. Absolutely worst example, not most expensive, but worst simply because of the "WTF? That's effin disgusting!"-factor was when they hired some one-woman freakshow from Spain for an opening of whatnot. Her act consisted of going commando while wearing a skirt, ranting for a while, then pissing on the stage [barf].
