This is supposed to bolster Missouri's RKBA, but it adds language about felons and those with mental issues. I'm not sure it's really an improvement. What do you think?

Some convicted felons are/were violent.Lots aren't.
"Adjudged mentally infirm by a court" makes me uncomfortable. My inner
guy believes that this could be interpreted in a ban happy way.
I vote two thumbs down,un-neccesary.
Removing a ban on concealed weapons is a good idea though.
Limiting peoples rights isn't the answer.

onions!,
The current language doesn't ban concealed weapons, or even keep us from passing a "CC is legal, sans permit" law. I'd like to remove that language, but I guess I need convincing that it is worth it for the felons & nuts exception.

From the link:
The current amendment reads as follows:
Section 23. That the right of every citizen to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person and property, or when lawfully summoned in aid of the civil power, shall not be questioned; but this shall not justify the wearing of concealed weapons.
Must of misunderstood the context. Not trying to argue.
