Title: When your Tin Foil Hat is screwed on too tight
Post by: WLJ on June 28, 2022, 11:16:42 AM
Guy sand bags (Corn bags?) his house, surrounds it with plastic sheets, string, and peanut butter jars.
Because...well in his words
Quote
Jonathan Cooper, the homeowner, says the reason the home is like this is because he's concerned about security, specifically a foreign attack.

Makes me wonder what the inside looks like.

Watch the video, guy is nutter than squirrel poop

Must be a De...

Never mind.  An obvious joke.

Paranoia is a survival trait, but I think that's clinical paranoia.  IANAP.

Peanut butter jars? That sounds pretty harmless.

Now, if they were empty coffee cans . . .  :O

I'm not sure how there's no health code violations? That stagnant water looks like biohazard central.

I can't tell if he's really a nut, or if he's got some social media moneymaking / notoriety scam going on. I suppose the two are not mutually exclusive.

The video didn't work, so I could not find the answer to the vital question of if the peanut butter jars were empty or full?  And if full, does creamy or chunky give better protection?

Try again, I just checked and it's working.
They said dozens of peanut butter jars. The one they showed a close up of was full and appeared to my eyes to be creamy

The lots around look patchy, like around here if run down houses get demolished leaving an empty lot.

The streets aren't at right angles. That explains a lot.

Ben remarked,

"I can't tell if he's really a nut, or if he's got some social media moneymaking / notoriety scam going on. I suppose the two are not mutually exclusive."

Good point.  I'm just not used to considering the social media for anything.  I must get into that.  What's the craziest one available on the net? I mean besides APS.

I couldn't say what the craziest is, but I continue to be both amazed and befuddled at how many 16 year olds made themselves into millionaires via youtube videos doing stupid *expletive deleted*it.

It's a crazy world that makes someone a millionaire for videoing themselves licking toilet seats, but here we are.

There's a 'Rona outbreak at one of our local stores. I'm seriously thinking of heading over and licking a few doorknobs. I could use some time off.
