Hexomat floor mats
« on: August 02, 2018, 08:39:29 AM »
Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm looking at new floor mats for the Forester, and damned if the Weathertechs haven't gone up a LOT since I purchased a set for the Outback some years ago.

They seem to get good reviews and are more cost effective than the Weathertechs.

Hive mind for the fail...

I decided to go ahead and order them from AutoAnything.

$54 and change with free shipping, plus a I found a coupon code that knocked $11 off the price.

How bad can they be...floor mats are pretty low tech. The weather techs are nice but I can’t get behind paying a couple hundred fillers for them

I need to replace the floor mats in my truck.  I will have to look at those brands.

Check craigslist. My wife found a lightly used set of weathertechs for her CRV for $25

I just got a set of previously returned Husky Liners for my wife’s car. Looks nice, good quality, good fit and cheaper than Weathertech. Made in the USA too.

Huskys are what I use. Great quality, sturdy, and they always have 15-20% off sales going. I have them in both the truck and 4Runner. I just didn't pipe in here because Mike has a car, and I have always considered the Huskys "dirt and mud" mats. Though the Contour model mats would be nice enough for a car for me.

I thought we had at least 3 hours to reply to any request.

It' shame you didn't wait.  I'm down the road from Weathertech, I could have got them for about 50% off for you.

I've actually got an SUV, a Subaru Forester, and it, and my Outbacks before it, have been in areas where I've tracked in significant amounts of mud

The ones I got were just at half the price of comparable Weathertechs.  Granted, they were returns, but I'd consider them even at the higher price if I had another vehicle that needed them.
