Google News - this is a little disturbing

OK, so I was looking for details on a Diane Feinstein quote about Bush's CIA nominee and since I was already at Google I clicked the news link for "related stories". The first three newspaper links in order of appearance in the search engine:

1. Aljazeera
2. New York Times
3. Peoples Daily (China)

The balance of the first page of 30 results were similar leaning publications from around the U.S. and world.

The Wall Street Journal made a solo appearance about midway down page 2, followed by more of the same.

Think Google has an agenda?

Google definititely has an agenda, but I doubt that it has anything to do with what you saw.

Perhaps you're right. But I do find it troubling that the average person doing a news search is going to find those sources as their primary references.

What I find disturbing is the phrase "Google News".
If life gives you melons, you may be dyslexic.
