Well, *expletive deleted*it... Hadn't talked to him in about six months or so. Was it another stroke? I guess I gotta see if Greg has access to the manuscript.

He was a nice guy... Camped next to us at KCR a few times, and I visited his house a couple of times. I hope his living room trophies don't get trashed... He  had some really beautiful tusks. And yeah, he had a cannon in his den...

Saw something on the Book of Faces early this week, but didn't then see any corroboration elsewhere.

I know way back in the day word was he was working on a sequel to UC, which I always thought would be a bad idea.

When I talked to him, he said he was working on it, but Real Life kept getting weirder and weirderer...

A friend and I were talking to him at Knob Creek about 20 years ago and he said he was working on a sequel. When asked what direction he was going to take it he answered something like “the government isn’t known for keeping their promises, are they?” which I took to mean they weren’t going to honor their deal with Henry Bowman and friends.

I think if he were going to do that sequel it would have needed to be done quite a few years ago.
