So apparently we're lending air support to a dirty war being fought in Yemen? And nobody bothered to tell the American public? What gives?

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has intensified the American covert war in Yemen, exploiting a growing power vacuum in the country to strike at militant suspects with armed drones and fighter jets, according to American officials.

This sounds like were providing CAS to a beleaguered Yemen gov't, though.

I understand through unconfirmed sources that a few of the terrorists killed in Yemen in 2005-2006 by Hellfire drones strikes might not have been hellfire drone strikes. At least that's what the Force Recon Marines I ate breakfast with claimed.

I think you need to include a bunch more Presidents in that short list. Probably need to go back to the early 1900's when we would send Marines all over South America.
