Here is Kenai, newest member of the family. He is 8 weeks old. Calmest puppy I've ever seen.

Good looking puppy.

Nice pup. What was he looking at so intently?

Probably the spot where he just peed.

His personality is definitely coming through more now. He's still more mellow than I had expected, but energy is coming up a bit.

Get a Frisbee Immediately. This is my GSD at about the same age a couple years ago.

Not just any Frisbee, get a Jawz. They last a lot longer and your pup don't get bleeding gums.

The one in that picture is a Kong, might have to check out that Jaws one in your link. The Kong’s are pretty doggy safe.
She started carrying around that Frisbee almost as soon as she could lift it and is still her favorite toy. She has about 5, I can usually find at least two. Great for quick good exercise, especially during the week when I have to squeeze in time to play.
She has been known to carry around three at a time. My last GSD wasn’t much into playing frisbee or ball, but she was rescue already over a year old. Thus my suggestion to put a frisbee in front of the OPs new pup ASAP.

Kongs are durable, but they don't fly nearly as far as the Jaws. Dozer is a lab/golden retriever mix and he would chase them for hours.
