I really wish I knew what KT's production bottleneck was. First it was to be the new factory building about two years ago, that was finished, then it was getting the CNC stuff on line.

I've heard rumors they don't have enough 220 or 440V at the site to power all the CNC machines at once. (shrug) I guess I could see them in a fight with the local utility who wants them to pay some ungodly fee to run more service, or upgrade a substation etc.

Over on KTOG there was a big deal made about how they "learned their lesson" on the PMR-30 (And RFB) and they wouldn't be messing up with the new RMR-30 22mag carbine that's also just pure sex too. Although I got the impression that promise was more about making promised release dates, than actually meeting production/market demand.

Maybe they're just overly cautious with cash outlay, won't take loans and only buy tooling and machines (and new hires) as they can pay for them out of pocket and it slows growth, but never leaves them in the red either, dunno.

It cries out for a good reflex sight, something I thought I'd never put on a shotgun, but KT has produced a shotgun so un-derivative of other shotguns, I'll make the exception.

If it turns out to be reliable, I'll take two, no three.

If it feeds those itty bitty Aguila shells I'd have to go in a closet & hug myself.

One question...how do you load it?

Ooh, you're a dirty boy. I'm with ya though, if it turns out to be reliable, relatively inexpensive (less than $500), and feeds Aguila minishells, I'll be all over one like white on rice.

If it doesn't feed minishells, but is inexpensive and reliable, then I'll still get one, but I won't squeal like a schoolgirl as I pay for it. :D

Why would you want the minishells? Is this the one place on the innernets that doesn't want 4" magnums?

Neat gun, but it's a pump. Shorter than my Sterling with its stock folded, which is nice.

The Kel-Tec holds 14 2.75" shells - 2 full-sized tube magazines.

On the Ktog thread I read, one of the Kel Tec folks insinuates that it should be about half the cost of the RFB. What's the RFB, $1200? So we're looking about $600 or so. I be initial demand brings $800-$1000 for them. If I go back to work, I'll be hunting for one as soon as they come out.
12ga power, high capacity, and compact package. I think its going to be a badass home defense and gun games shotgun.
The thread said that you select the tube to load and fire from with the flick of a switch. So you could stack one with slugs and one with buck.
