It hit ten below on my balcony both on my mechanical thermometer and my remote one, both in about the same place.
The one above my downstairs neighbor's door consistenly read 2-3 degrees above that. (I pick up his remote on my second channel.)
But it's above his door, so leakage of room air out his door apparently boosts the reading a little.
Before I discovered the second channel it drove me nuts for a while. I had inadvertenly switched my receiver to the second channel and the readings did not agree with my good ole mechanical one. I finally figured out what was going on and switched back to channel one and all was well.
His temp reads about 10 degrees higher than mine in the morning (his remote is on the east side) and mine on the west side reads higher in the afternoon. If it's cloudy, they tend to agree more.
Kind of an interesting pattern of measurements to watch.
To me anyhow, but I'm a bit of a mensuration nut.
However, I almost feel like I'm stealing someone's Wi-Fi.
