I hate the ATF

Got my Form 4 back today.

In big red letters: "DENIED: transfer across state lines to unlicensed entity prohibited"

Apparently transferring across state lines requires a dealer for NFA toys.  That was a $200 mistake.

So I assume I need to find a local dealer to transfer to (for $200) then to transfer to me (for another $200).  Awesome.  sad

Yep, that's true, though since it was denied they SHOULD refund your $200 - that $200 is specifically the amount for the stamp, NOT a processing fee.

Should you get it? Sure. Will you? In a timely manner?

And people want the same bureaucrats to oversee all health care...

You shoot the dog first, and it should really be the same way with .gov officals.

I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?
