If I wanted to find a grub screw/set screw with a pointed tip, what would that be called? I am looking at the Amazon assortment kits and they are all flat on both ends. So this makes me think the pointed tip have a particular name. Does anyone know what they are called?

A cone point! And what a very interesting site from Perd, I had no idea there were so many types of set screws.

I was gonna go with "pointy set screw"

McMaster-Carr calls them cone-point.

When I read the OP, I thought to myself "I wonder if I'll be the first to post a McMaster link"
