The only two things I see are.. uh.. one of those Glocks looks like it's jammed and pointed at a weird angle, and.. is that a left-handed holster on her right hip (maybe she's got the belt all scooted around?)? I also say that because that handcuff case thing is on the very front, and I always see it in the back.

I don't think the middle pistol is pointed at her head if that's what y'all are talking about.  It's a trick of perspective.

Right, but it's still not pointed downrange. I can think of about a million range officers that'd have your a$$ for that.  grin

It looked to me like the gun was pointed at her head.  Which means the answer is:

NOTHING AT ALL! grin

Yeah, I think it actually is pointed down range, but at a slight angle.

Poor muzzle control  No,its not pointed at her head, but its not downrange, either.
Also, that's not the best place to clear a jam or reload.  He should have the pistol in retention (pulled in tight to the body) to perform an FTF drill or reload. Having your hands that far out puts you in position to have the pistol wrested from your control, and you can't use it effectively as a weapon that far from your body.

"Downrange" can be any direction not parallel to or behind the firing line.  It doesn't have to be in a, say, no more than ten degree arc from perpendicular to be "safe", depending on your berm.

Not saying its a good idea to have it 45 deg. off perp., but we can't see the backstop and we don't know this range's rules.

The three drawn pistols in that picture are pointed safely down-range.  Period.

Just from a quick glance, I'm guessing she was wandering around saying "Huh? I can't year you?" for a while... Those muffs don't look like they're in the right spot.

My first thought was they are all OK since they seem to be roughly maintaining a firing line.  The picture was taken sort of looking down the line and back.  Then I figured out the photographer has to be down range of the line!

Speaking of safety, did you hear about the FBI agent that was killed in a live fire exercise yesterday?

Other than the things already mentioned...having a bunch of D-list Hollywood jackasses join the Muncie, Indiana police force is what is wrong with that picture.

The angle makes it look like the guns are pointed at her.  Not that I see that as a problem, per se.
