While I've been able to scratch my TOS itch with Netflix on demand, I'm not a huge fan of relying on the "cloud" to store media, and always purchase my favorites on DVD or 405nm-Ray*.  That being said, I'm used to paying $10-$15 for a TV season, maybe $30/season if I'm desperate *cough* Breaking Bad *cough* enough.

These seem a bit pricey.

*Shouldn't it be "Violet-Ray?"

Back when I got started in video ......(early 1980s)
I had Betamax and a couple of episodes of STAR TREK were released on Beta.  Image was wierdly dark but played OK.  One was "The City on the Edge of Forever," with Joan Collins, and I don't recall the second episode.....
Then Beta went belly-up and VHS took over.  And back in the mid 80s the series was released on VHS so many episodes at a time on 60 minute tapes.  I recall greedily waiting each new release and adding the new tapes to my ever growing collection....
Then some jackwagon invented DVD.  And guess what?  Hey, three season on DVD takes up WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY less space than on VHS!
And I see the jackwagon parade continues -- BLUE RAY!!!

Sorry.  DVD will have to do................ :'(

I remember when ST:TOS sets were ~$80 PER SEASON, so $130 for all three seasons on Blu-Ray is pretty awesome.

One of the reviews for the BR set states that these are the remastered versions, but you can apparently switch between the remasters SFX and "original" SFX pretty easily. Hmmm...

It's 2012 and Obama's in office.  So, you'll have to buy the White Album on Blue Ray at the Black Market.

With near-worthless greenbacks. =D =| :'(

Lol. I had nearly every episode on VHS and two copies of The Star Trek Compendium. I used one as a catalog for the episodes (i.e., I wrote in "Tape 3 57 minutes in" was xyz episode at the top of each episode synopsis) and the other I kept mint.
Spent many an afternoon playing "Starfleet Battles" wargame.
Nowadays, I just watch them on CBS via Hulu.

Never got into any of the other series.
