This was edited for not being "High Road"
I still do not understand why.

Would you want to have some one  here see your kid?

--- Quote ---Would you want to have some one  here see your kid? Why, because they cater to the recently-immigrated? I have no problem with immigrants.

Perd Hapley:
What do you find interesting about this clinic?

This is definitely not a High Road thread, as the High Road is limited to discussion of guns and other weapons.  The Legal and Political forum is a little broader, but this doesn't appear to be a legal or political topic.

K Frame:
a friend of mine is a pediatrician. She volunteered there for awhile to help get it started back in 2001.

What's the problem?

MillCreek:
I am one of the administrators at a large medical clinic.  Many of my physicians volunteer their time at a similar community access clinic in this area.  I would have no problem whatsoever in taking my children to the community clinic.  The quality of care at these places is generally pretty good, albeit limited due to financial constraints.  As an example, anything requiring surgery, orthopedics or a subspecialty consult has to be referred out, since the community clinic usually does not have the equipment nor specialists on board to handle these areas.
