My personal problem is with parenthesis.  I often veer my own post and should put those thoughts in parenthesis.  So if when reading my posts you feel something sentences should be separate from the main thrust of my message, here are some extra to sprinkle about my posts as you desire:

My problem is I feel I have too great a tendency to use parentheses, which is why I've taken to superscripts and footnotes. (Mostly, at least. I still sometime will use the parentheses - that is, unless I feel like using a hyphen- to set off my (extraneous) thoughts from the main idea. (I'm not sure where I first picked up this habit, though.))
