I, too, used to go tearing around the mountain curves on Highway 2, Angeles Crest Highway. Best d@mn road I ever drove.
And clear air above the L.A. smog and heat, gorgeous mountains, campgrounds to unwind in. Few people.
'Course I was married to my hottie, so there wasn't exactly the same, er, tension?
And on a student's budget my Ferrari was a VW beetle.
I drove it like a Ferrari, though, flat out!
