Take the quiz first. It will help you be more disappointed in the results described in the article.

Got the US gov spending question wrong. I went with interest on national debt.

11 out of 11 correct.
I fear for the future of my country.
-
These questions were easy . . . someone who can't get at least 8/11 just isn't paying attention.

And yet, about a third of the people who were asked couldn't do better than 4/11.

I chose interest on the national debt rather than Medicare, and 50% for obesity. I guess living in AL and WI skewed my estimate on obesity. ;)
-
11 out of 11. I guessed at the percentage of lard bellies and I'm kinda sad that I know who the founder of Facebook is.
-
D'oh! I missed the one about the majorities in Congress. I thought the Republicans controlled both houses but only had a slim lead in the Senate. (and I almost got McConnell and Boehner mixed up)
10 out of 11 right.

You and me both, daddy-o, you and me both.

Ditto on the interest. Also screwed up the speaker of the house.

IIRC, 50% or close to it are significantly overweight, but only half of those actually meet the obesity numbers.

Same here. Guess I should have read the comments first....

I am perfect! =D
(In my own mind......)
-
Ryan, you are correct - you just have to wait a little bit. =D That drip, drip, drip is drool coming off the fangs of the Bond Monster hiding in the shrubbery.
-
10 out of 11 here.
I started to choke on who Hillary was, as there was no answer that said Witch!
-
I missed energy and expenditures. Shame on me.
-
Missed the one on the gov't biggest expense. An informed guess on one or two others.
-
I went for 50% lardass so I fail. The gov't spending question was the most of the 4 choices, I'm sure pensions and/or SS far outstrips them, although they should have put defense spending in as a choice to sucker all the little peaceniks.

11 out of 11

98th percentile.
-
10/11 missed the spending question. Like many other here, I also fear for the future of this country.

first, what are you doing in my head? [tinfoil] and second, see anything that would be causing severe pain?
-
11/11.
-
Got em all, had to semi guess on the obesity question.

<---- Same. (Mainly because I don't care how many Americans are obese.)

Same here. Guess I should have read the comments first....
Me too... Damn people for being thinner than I thought...and debt interest is a bond-market hiccup away from being biggest, so maybe I was prescient instead of wrong (on both counts)

Same here. Not bad, given my cynical attitude this evening.

9 out of 11. Missed on unemployment an energy.

That's good enough. Welcome aboard. When can you get here?

Good question. Got a single daughter aged 18 to 27-ish that need to be married off?

Sorry, she's already taken. In fact, I just got to meet my newest grandson last Wednesday. She and her husband are in town for a quick vacation.

Since I know a bit about obesity, a got that right. In fact, exactly 25% of me is obese, as well. What a coincidence! Just being overweight doesn't make you obese. Ya gotta work harder at it than that.
I missed the interest vs Medicare thing. I too think the interest monster under the bed is about to emerge and eat us for a snack.
-
10 out of 11, missed the obesity question.

OK. We don't want you anymore. If'n you really loved Amurrica, you wouldn't be so particular as to age. Or sex. :P
