Michelle Obama administered the oath of office?

I always thought the chief justice of the SC administered the presidential oath of office, but Michelle Obama did the official swearing-in on Sunday.

What's with that?

Which if you go through the pictures of other Presidential swearing-in ceremonies, is often done by the spouse.  I have seen pictures of this going back for decades.

Who decided that since swearing on one Bible wasn't enough to make BHO honor the oath he took four years ago, maybe two would?
