That QB for Texas is pretty damn good.  I was impressed.  If it wasn't for them beating Ohio State then I would of rooted for them last night.  Oh well, at least the only team that beat us was in fact the national champs.  Smiley

Orange Bowl was good in a weird sort of way, and the Rose Bowl (what little I saw of it) was pretty good, too.

The rest of the bowl games this year have been a festering pile of crap.

I THINK BCS is overlaid on top of some pre-existing contractual agreements that exist between some of the teams/leagues and some of the bowls.

At least that's my understanding.

Florida State made it to a BCS game because they beat VaTech in the ACC Championship game.  An 8-4 team in the BCS is an embarrassment.  Hell, I'm not too happy that the Big East got a BCS slot.  Although, I have to admit, West Virginia did beat a pretty good Georgia team.

That's pretty close. It's based on $$$ and politics.

I would like to see a real playoff series like they have for basketball, but I don't think it will ever happen.
