Bears repeating
« on: August 26, 2015, 12:21:09 PM »
Comment by visitor to Yellowstone National Park:

Quote
Our visit was wonderful but we never saw any bears. Please train your bears to be where guests can see them. This was an expensive trip to not get to see bears.

Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin

Are you sure this was not -

The same dipsy lady that wanted the "Deer Crossing" signs moved to a safer place?

Or the SJW who wanted the state to stop suggesting Native Americans are dangerous "Beware of Falling Rocks"

Or the other SJW who was tired of the state picking on Asian-Americans "Mo Wing Next 2 Miles"

Just taking the blue pill is having more and more appeal.

stay safe.

I have reached a conclusion regarding every member of this forum.
I no longer respect any of you. I hope the following offends you as much as this thread has offended me:
You are all awful people. I mean this *expletive deleted*ing seriously.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

The bears tend to face immediate consequences for stupidity. Humans, not so much.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
