Computer whiz question...
« on: December 19, 2006, 01:47:36 AM »
I just attempted to open a file from email and the Yahoo Norton said it contained some "Malformed Container" virus and couldn't be cleaned. Now I redo the initial steps and it is not indicating a virus anymore. Do I dare download it?

It's a backup of Peachtree which is an accounting program.

Yea, I actually have AVG installed, this was by the Yahoo Norton. Should I try to put it through and see what the AVG says? It just updated as a matter of fact.

Save the file, don't open it, scan with the tool of your choice after updating your virus def files.
