Sweng,  This is a forum that was a spinoff from The HighRoad.Org.  We are folks that appreciate firearms, freedom, and the Constitution.  We like to sit around the campfire sometimes and discuss other things, so Oleg set up this site for us and called it the Armed Polite Society as we self moderate and we came from The Roundtable at THR.
Good folks, good discussions, good info coming from a wide range of circumstances.  Hope you participate and enjoy.  Welcome.

Seriously!  I'm not a shooter, but I'm a rabid fan of the constitution and freedom!  (ok ok... and swords and women who can kick my butt on the TKD mat, but that's rapidly heading someplace Art's Gramma wouldn't like)  I come here for those last 2 things.  (Plus Walking Arsenal and Phantom Warrior's corrupting influence.  It was easier to just start participating than to have them send me 10 links a day.)
