I keep mine around (A) because I like to bitch about it; (B) I'd never want to foist it off on anyone else as a defensive arm.

But it was most likely a contact or near-contact shot.  Let's not forget what a ball of ~5000 psi hot gases* can do inside the body in terms of temporary cavity.  Completely apart from the bullet's damage.

I would not rely on that gun for defensive purposes, and there's not much else it was designed for.  Certainly not for barking squirrels out of a tree.

* Probably considerably higher pressure than that, considering the length of the barrel.  Like maybe 15kpsi, figuring the chamber pressure might have been as high as 34 Kpsi depending on specific load.  Call it somewhere around 1000-2000 atmospheres, just to get an idea of the expansion ratio.

My PF9 was unreliable at first.  I finally sent it back to Keltec.  It is now 100% reliable, but the trigger really sucks and the gun is so light it makes 9mm recoil seem harsh.  I don't like shooting it.  I would try the Ruger version or some other design over the Keltec if I was buying a small 9mm again. 

There are probably better venues to sell that pistol than gunbroker.

There are people that desire old western guns that were carried by outlaws or known killers.  The market does exist.  Of course, there may also be people with some money who are just sympathetic to the ringer he was run though in the courts.

Mas Ayoob has a 20 part blog that is very interesting with respect to the Martin situation.  Mas was in the know about what actually happened.  It is a very informative series.  It is a shame how many honorable people on the LE side lost their jobs due to the massive campaign to discredit/convict Zimmerman because they told the truth and it did not fit the SJW/progressive narrative.  Zimmerman might be an idiot, but he was the victim in this situation.
