Title: NYC Subway Photos Circa 1980s

Sorry it's Buzzfeed, but I thought these were really interesting photos of the state of the NYC subway in the 1980s. I remember always reading about the Guardian Angel "vigilantes" in a thing we had back then called a newspaper. :)

What I always found interesting was that the lady that was the radio voice in that movie, later played "The Chief" in Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

Also I will always give Giuliani credit for cleaning up New York.  Not that that necessarily transfers to the national stage...(it may.  I think he would be slightly better then Jeff Sessions.)

That reminds me of WeeGees'  collection of New York City photos he published in his collection, "The Naked City."

Wow. Vintage pictures of NYPD with low-hang holsters and Smith & Wesson revolvers...
