It's fun, but because of the 125cc displacement, I really have no place to take it. I have to jump through the hoops of titling it as a motorcycle if I want to go on the street, there aren't really places I could go off-road around here, and I really don't go camping often enough.

Post by: Kingcreek on October 17, 2018, 10:51:55 AM: The trail 90 (or 110) is the one they should bring back. Those things were handy as hell and would go anywhere. luggage racks, 4 gears with H/L range and an automatic clutch. and the onboard tool kit and spare fuel caddy were great.

Post by: Hawkmoon on October 17, 2018, 01:57:11 PM: I wish they'd just bring back the UJM (Universal Japanese Motorcycle). Currently, Neither Honda nor Yamaha nor Kawasaki has anything even close. The only maker who has one in Suzukia, and it's only a single-cylinder 250. I guess Honda doesn't think an updated CB350 would sell. I disagree.

The CB1100 looks sort of close, but there's far too much daylight between the rear tire and the rear fender. And the price puts it totally out of the UJM universe. $12,199 plus $450 destination charge ... and that was the price for the 2017 model.

Ideally, I'd be looking for something in the 500 cc realm. Too bad Triumph didn't revive the Daytona.
