"Crab cake is not substitute for fresh crab meat."
HOLY CRAP, I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT!
THANK YOU, CHARBY, FOR ALLOWING ME TO SEE THAT A POINT THAT I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE IS ACTUALLY INCORRECT!
I'M SO HUMBLED BY YOUR PERSPICACITY!
PLEASE ALLOW ME TO HAVE YOUR CHILDREN!!!
Look at my message to Laurent again, you wad.
I'm talking about ways of EASING HIM INTO eating crab, something he said that he won't do. I guessed that it's a matter of perception over the appearance of the crab. I may be wrong about that.
I NEVER suggested that crab cake is somehow a "substitute" for "fresh crab." (Speaking of which, do you actually know anyone who makes their crab cakes from rotted crap meat, as opposed to fresh? If so, you need to find a better restaurant.)
But, if it is, removing the negative connotation is a valid way of introducing someone to something that they don't think that they like based on the visual image.
Next time, READ my message, and understand it, BEFORE you weigh in.
