Where did he go?

Did I miss the thread on his mental institution commitment?

Did he banshwerk himself?

Did he kill Fistful and assume the scapegoat identity to cover his dastardly ways?

I think Abby discovered money, and realized she could use it to take out a contract on him.

He pops in at times, but he lost his moderator powers.

Voluntarily gave up his moderator position.  I'm not sure why he's not been around here much and won't speak for him.
Gossip and idiocy will get this nuked, but feel free to make fun of Irwin

How quickly we forget.

I saw the thread title on the index page and my first thought was, "Who doesn't know that he was eaten by a shark while snorkling off Australia last year?"

Then I opened the thread and realized we should be discussing MIKE Irwin.

If he was feeling moderator burn-out, I sympathize. I'm a mod on a couple of forums and I think I'm about due for a sabbatical myself.

I personally feel many here should move on from APS, myself included.  However, it appears to the casual observer that APS could indeed be the be-all, end-all of some's existence, almost like a Twitter/MySpace/Facebook thing.   =|

Choosing to pop in on a forum from time to time is a good thing. I don't think I could handle being on any site all, or most, of the time.  It's kinda like a visiting the family over the holiday kinda thang..."it's been good seeing you, but I have to go now".

I knew there was a reason I haven't seen so many threads locked lately . . . (I thought we were just behaving ourselves. )

I "moved on" back in January.  This is the second time that I've checked in since then.  Someone pointed out this thread to me.

I'm not sure whether I should stay "moved on" or drop in once in a while  =|

To answer the OP's question, Mike is still very much a member of APS.

I know that may trouble some, based on the undertones I sense in this thread, but there it is.

Whether he chooses to post or not is entirely his call.

We will afford him the courtesy due fellow APS members - the rules haven't changed.

I kinda miss him, but understand how trying to herd the cat farm that is APS would be stressful.
