What do my eyes behold?

Is that a Henderson?
If you want to see some pretty motorcycles do a google search on art deco motorcycles. You can actually get a modern version of the 1934 BMW R7 built today.

I'm not a motorcycle guy, but that is beautiful.

Not doing it for me.
Definitely interesting. If it's Italian they won't have to worry about getting it running consistently.

Showed that to DW. She said she'd rather have a Gold Wing.
-
Now we know where Honda got the inspiration for their Pacific Coast model.
-
I've wanted a Gold Wing for quite a while, but the only way I'd ride one of the Pacific Coast models is if someone gave it to me - running. I wouldn't pay to fix it.
-
I haven't kept up with motorcycle development for the last decade or so but the Goldwing was a pretty impressive machine even 15+ years ago. A buddy I rode with had one and while flat out on straight roads it would blow my Roadking away I could easily walk away from him in the twisties*, even 2 up. I was a lot less afraid of dragging a footboard than he was.
*I'm comparing heavy touring bikes, not crotch rocket sport bikes. =D

They are better than you think, and it's the rider more than the bike.

That's almost enough to make we want another bike :'( .

Got a chuckle out of the bug stuck on the camera lens. =)
I did have one of the early 1000cc Goldwings back in my 20's. The swing arm bushings were shot, hitting corners like Yellow Wolf did was interesting. Kinda felt like riding a snake might.
