Lots of beans - if you eat them all the time your body will adapt and you won't gas out your family and friends.  Probiotics help reduce gas, too.

+1.  We eat a lot of beans too, but no issues here.  Your body does adapt.

If the Almighty didn't want us to eat animals, then He wouldn't have made them out of meat.

(Isn't "vegetarian" an old Indian word meaning "bad hunter?")

For meats we're big on chicken here.  Pork probably comes in second.  Beef a third and then fish a fourth.

Trying to get fish up higher on the list but the wife is hesitant about it.  She likes it every time we have it but it never sounds good when we're planning out meals for the week.

Omnivore, extremely heavy on meat.

Grandpa: What the... what the hell is this?

John: That's lite beer.

Grandpa: Gee, I weigh ninety goddamn pounds, and you bring me this sloppin' foam?

John: Ariel's got me on a diet because the doc said my cholestorol's a little too high.

Grandpa: Well let me tell you something now, Johnny. Last Thursday, I turned 95 years old. And I never exercised a day in my life. Every morning, I wake up, and I smoke a cigarette. And then I eat five strips of bacon. And for lunch, I eat a bacon sandwich. And for a midday snack?

John: Bacon.

Grandpa: Bacon! A whole damn plate! And I usually drink my dinner. Now according to all of them flat-belly experts, I should've took a dirt nap like thirty years ago. But each year comes and goes, and I'm still here. Ha! And they keep dyin'. You know? Sometimes I wonder if God forgot about me. Just goes to show you, huh?

John: What?

Grandpa: Huh?

John: Goes to show you what?

Grandpa: Well it just goes... what the hell are you talkin' about?

John: Well you said you drink beer, you eat bacon and you smoke cigarettes, and you outlive most of the experts.

Grandpa: Yeah?

John: I thought maybe there was a moral.

Grandpa: No, there ain't no moral. I just like that story. That's all. Like that story.

So where's the option for:

Omnivore- normal amounts of meat/dairy?

All I see is heavy vs. light.

I had to chose omivore light since we eat a lot of different colors of meat. =)

I could eat red meat everyday but the rest of the family doesn't feel the same way. So we eat all the tasty fish and animals fairly balanced.

A hand cut ribeye and a plate of bowtie pasta with a cheese sauce made with a half pound of velveta and real butter and cream. UUUMMM.  =D

I generally go for light omnivore.  A typical dinner is a few grilled chicken tenders diced up on top of a big spinach salad.

for lunch generally I have more grilled chicken tenders and a baggie of cut up carrots and red bell peppers.

Breakfast is generally shredded wheat and milk wtih a handful of raw unsalted almonds.

I like meat, but I don't eat much of it because I'm a cheap bastard, and also because my daughter has turned vegetarian (it's a 20 yo girl thing) and she is home for the summer.  I eat fruits and vegetables, lots of cheese, and a fair amount of beans... and maybe a 99¢ Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger every once in a while.

We won't talk about how much alcohol I drink; I should probably cut down on that a bit because I'm trying to lose weight and it has a lot of calories.

Whatever I can find, usually.
Not very healthy it isn't.
I'm very worried since my dad got that diverticulosis (sp?) from eating too much meat, but I can't afford much more than instant noodles and whatever else the family feels like sharing.  At least I can visit dad's mom's sometimes and get some nice home cooked health food.

Maybe for most people. I ate beans almost every day growing up (healthy + cheap) and I've always had pretty wicked gas when I eat them. Ask Marnoot, he's known me for a long time.

As long as it's not moving, I'll eat it. Lately, though, it's more like if it's frozen I'll eat it.

I can vouch for this, though the effects of lasagna are much worse . . .

I'm pretty much the same. I eat like a caveman. Vegetables are for prey species.

Omnivore, heavy on meat and dairy.

Breakfast is 1 pint or sometimes 1.5 pints of Whole Milk with Cereal. Big bowl full to the brim x2 basically.
Lunch and dinner is often full of meat and starchy foods. I love potatoes, pasta, rice.

Eat a lot of turkey and a lot of eggs. Beef about once a week. Very little dairy these days, used to drink up to 4 pints a day.

Pretty much live on omelettes and stirfry.

Mine gets seasonal.
When I'm picking fresh veggies in season I eat more of them.
Breakfast today was cantelope, pircked yesterday and chilled over night.
Lunch was a ham and cheese sandwich with fresh made dill pickles left over from the 9 pints I canned Wednesday and more cantelope for desert. Supper will likely be fresh garden salad with peppers, squash and more cantelope.

Sundays I'll usually do a fancy breakfast, this week I'm planning on goose egg omlets (chease, peppers tomatoes) with bacon, whole wheat toast and cantelope.

What is this "breakfast" you others speak of?  What animal does it come from?

I may be up and out of the bed just before the sun comes up, but I am not allowed any physical contact with the world until there are two numbers in the hour part of the time, and I have had sufficient coffee.

Pretty much I eat like a sumo wrestler, which may also explain why I resemble one.  Pretty much nothing but water till after the sun goes down, then somewhere halfway between that event and bed I eat - mostly meat carved off the still-bleating animal and consumed before it can be touched by fire, a potato (baked, split open and drenched with lemon juice) instead of rice, and some sort of boiled or baked plant parts used as the means of holding olive oil and vinegar - shaken, not stirred.  More water consumed.

A beer or maybe two during the week, then I might go months before consuming any alcohol.

Saturday mornings everything goes arse over teakettle.  Late breakfast with friends (eggs, bacon, sausage, some sort of semi-burnt bread, juice) and then nothing till just before bed when it's likely to be two lunch-meat sized slices of leftover meat and water.

Weight was constant for years.  I've managed to take maybe 10 pounds off in the past 6-8 months.  No, I'm not trying to lose, even though there is a possibility my health would improve slightly.  My goal is to gain no more than 1 pound over my April 2010 weight over any 30-day period unless I lose, then it's not gain more than 1 pound over that lesser weight.

stay safe.

I used to eat heavy on the red meat and dairy, but then I had a heart attack and died.  Now I'm just stinking up the place while those little wormy things chow down on me.  I wonder how they would answer the OP's poll?

I lived on a dairy as teenager and had fresh milk every morning..........sometimes it was still cow temperature. Hardly ever drink milk these days, but I eat the hell out of cheese, sour cream and use a lot of heavy whipping cream, Half & Half and butter.

All animals are food, some are better tasting than others. I like to eat a lot of fish, chicken and pork. Beef a couple three time a month. Lamb is my favorite red meat, but I haven't had any recently. I wish the more exotic meats were more readily available, rabbit, horse, bison, ostrich, you get the idea?
Not too big on dairy, I cannot remember the last time i had a glass of milk, but I like cheese.
I have yet to eat a fruit or vegetable I didn't like the taste of, but because of the medication I take to keep my prosthetic mitral valve from getting clogged I have to avoid dark green veggies. Which is a pain because I really liked spinach.

Been there done that. With cows and pigs. Heck we even gave 'em names.
Sir Loin, Hamilton, Chopper, Miss Piggy (which in retrospect was pretty odd being that the animal was a steer).
I don't remember all of them but there were many over the years. I'm currently researching dual purpose goats (meat/dairy).

We butcher and eat our excess roosters.

I don't particularly like chicken but the free range roosters are pretty good.

The eggs are better.

The best temperature. I've got a cousin who won't touch homogenised pasteurised milk because it doesn't taste right. It doesn't taste the same as the raw milk we had on their farm as kids, but then again my kid brother picked up some fairly horrible gastroenteritis thing from there too.

Just FYI, re-using plastic jugs for raw milk is not a good idea  =(

I eat kangaroo about four times a week - reasonably priced, filling, and healthy.
