Obama will win the Dem nomination and run with Hillary as VP. The media will guilt a bunch of people to stay at home because "it is obvious that any vote for a Rep is a vote against a black guy, a woman, and a lesbian, so only racist gay-bashing mysogynist will vote Republican this time". So Obama will win with a small margin and later Hillary will get arrested for trying to kill him and succeed him.

Nice effort CAnny, but you really should have stopped with Hillary as VP.  She won't kill Pres. Obama.  She'll kill you just for suggesting such a thing.   smiley

Hillary Clinton?  Accept the VP nomination?  Her head is way too big for that.  After such a humiliating development I would expect to see her on top of the Capitol Building with a Savage in .300 Norma Magnum.  If there is such a cartridge.

When Hillary finally explodes, it will be beautiful and frightening to see. So much searing hatred, sexual repression, professional frustration, agonizing ambition, misanthropic malaise, and sheer cussedness guarantee a show of the century. I only hope when she does go nuclear, it will be someplace far away from me, e.g. NYC or SanFran.

Just remember - the basic democratic strategy, since nobody's able to really field a strong "issues" candidate, and Obama and Clinton are going to fundamentally have baggage problems, is to follow up with with they have been screaming about since Bush got elected.

They want you to vote for anyone but a Republican.

Guys, hold your nose if you need to, but we DO NOT need Obama or Clinton in the white house.

I haven't noticed a .300 Norma Magnum, but I do know of .308 Norma Magnum.

I've said this to some friends in real life, and they've all told me that I'm crazy.  So, maybe I am crazy, but I'm going to say it here:

Neither Clinton nor Obama will win the democratic nomination.  My money's on Gore.  The dems have a recent history of putting out high profile early leaders (Dean, Clark, Edwards) whose campaigns end up going nowhere.  I don't believe that either candidate has a strong backing with the power players in the party--they're just the most interesting people the media could find to start running stories on.

To make things interesting, if anyone wants to do a one month avatar bet for after the official nomation, I'm game.  For one month after the nomination is announced, I'll wear any avatar you want if Obama or Clinton get the nomination.  If it's *anyone else,* you wear whatever avatar I pick out.  Standard avater rules for the forum apply with regards to size and content, but other than that, anything is fair game.

vodka. I'm in agreement with you but I don't think it will be Gore, I'm trying to figure out who though. I do have a feeling Edwards will be the Veep on the ballot.
