Yipee! Fall has finally arrived in e. Texas!

   We got an early frost the other night and it seemed the trees have changed color almost overnight. Had fantastic thunderstorms all night last night, and a steady rain has been falling since I got up this a.m. I just looked at my porch thermometer and it tells me 58 degrees.

7 months before I have to worry about any more brutal heat. My favorite time of year in Texas. No more high electricity bills and a month before I need to turn on the furnace.

Where in east Texas? My sister and her husband live in Lindale (just outside Tyler).

Falling, then rising, then falling, then rising temps, rain, thunder, all the forecasters are confused as to what the weather will be like . . . sure you're not in Indiana? grin

Nope, Canton is about 20 miles north of here. Not in a town proper, Prairieville is the closest legal town to me, about 4 miles.
