At low round usage on a range, more than fine. High rate? Not so much.

Yeah, G36 can't take sustained rate of fire. I thought this was well known?

I do wonder what they mean by "precision issues"?   Are we talking inaccuracy due to barrel/parts wear?   I would like to find out exactly what the problem is.  Do they get "loose" with age/usage?

Knew about this I think a couple years ago...some police departments that had gotten these rifles dropped them due to this problem.

The plastic softens with high heat and allows barrel shift.

I wonder if this affects their other rifles or their semi-autos for the US market?

It's the poor design of the G-36, not the plastic used that results in the issues.

The pistols and such are OK.
