Must not be that great or Ted Turner would have bought it a while ago. I believe it has been for sale for several years.

There has apparently been a legal battle that has kept it from selling up until now. I just hope it doesn't get bought up by a Chinese investor and broken up into housing tracts.

I'm pretty sure the King Ranch in south Texas is about 50% larger than Waggoner's.

I think the Waggoner ranch is supposedly the largest continuously operated ranch in the US.

King ranch is bigger, but it's nothing compared to the largest Australian ranch which is something like 8 times the side of Rhode Island.

King Ranch isn't contiguous, though; two of the sections are completely separate from the largest one.
