Deus Ex: 1, definitely not 2.... Actually forces you to worry about different calibers / types of ammo, and you can't carry too much junk, just what fits in your inventory. Not TOO realistic in the gunplay dept.
RTCW: Like brimic said, amusing, but not very realistic. The submachineguns all seem to fire from a closed bolt, and the Mauser rifle holds 10 rounds, and the clip is fed into it like a Garand's enbloc... (but it vanishes so you can reload, ) Not to mention that it holds 10 shots, and the bolt doesn't visibly cycle.
Don't even get me started on the supernatural stuff in the game.
Operation Flashpoint: GOTY edition: Has all 3 OF games/add-ons. Pretty good modeling of the effects of the weapons (I.E. one shot often will kill you, but not always, ) decent vehicle code, and nice use of concealment / cover. Ok online play, IMO.
Quake 3: Good for an occasional romp, doesn't require a friggin' cray to run,
Unreal Tournament (Add on the Badlands mod availible from fileplanet.com for Western Action)
Badlands is pretty good. The weapons are reasonably realistic, (for a game, ) There's no stupid weapons like hand-held cannons or anything like that, just what you'd pretty much expect for a western.
Gametypes are a bt limited (Capture the flag, pure deathmatch, and "wanted" gameplay are it, )
UT2003 may work well for you too, depending on the video card you have, but the number of mods for it are fairly low, since UT2004 came in next year and blew it away... IMO, they should have just skipped 2003 and brought out 2004, rather than stealing everyone's money like they did.
Project IGI: You'll probably find this in a bargin bin somewhere, or maybe even be able to download it somewhere, (not legally! Unless you can purchase it like that, not sure, ) Basic "special forces" FPS, you're dropped in, must do commando-style missions.
Not particularly hard, ok funfactor, distinctly average realism.
